What does my membership fee cover?

Your membership fee helps us maintain the group, including website upkeep and social group administration. For in-person memberships, this fee also covers your share of event costs. That's why we request a fee when virtual members wish to attend in-person meetings. Please note, travel expenses are separate from the membership fee.

Why is there a background check?

We strive to create a travel group where everyone feels safe and comfortable. To ensure this, we require an initial background check to identify and exclude individuals with a history of violent or untrustworthy behavior.

What kind of trips do you plan for the group?

We offer a variety of group trips each year, catering to both families and adults. The exact destinations are based on the preferences of our members. In our first year, we’re focusing on popular travel spots. Our itineraries include land-based adventures, as well as ocean and river cruises to both domestic and international destinations.

How many trips do you offer per year?

We plan to offer 3-4 departures for the Club each year, but the exact number will depend on our members' preferences.

I am a solo traveler. Can you match me with a roommate?

Absolutely! We're happy to assist you in finding a roommate. While we can't guarantee a match for every trip or perfect compatibility, we aim to bring people together and ensure a comfortable travel experience. This is also why we require background checks.

How much will the trips cost?

The cost of each trip varies depending on the destination. We typically aim for a premium experience, with many trips falling in the 4-star range. Our goal is to offer at least one 5-star bucket list trip each year, based on our members' preferences.

What if a non-member friend or spouse wants to join a trip?

We expect this to come up frequently as we grow, so here are our guidelines:

  1. Spouse or Grown Child: If you have a spouse or grown child living in the same household who will travel with you, you can join with a virtual membership. They will need to pass a background check before their first trip with us.

  2. Friend: If you have a friend who wants to join a trip, they will need to select a membership option and complete the background check process.
